Together with Deutsche Gesellschaft für die Vereinten Nationen e.V., United Nations Association of Germany and the Embassy of New Zealand in Berlin, the Embassy hosted the event “Islands in a Global Ocean of Challenges: Navigating towards a Resilient and Sustainable Future for SIDS”, on the occasion of the Fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4).

Ambassador Shaan met with Ambassador Craig Hawke, Ambassador of New Zealand to Germany. Discussed areas of mutual interest between the two countries.

Embassy took part in the International Business Forum hosted on the sideline of the Annual Reception 2024 of the BVMW; an excellent avenue to engage with potential partners and discuss economic opportunities.
