A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy to commemorate the 59th Anniversary of the Independence of Maldives. Ambassador Shaan hoisted the flag in the presence of the Embassy staff.

Ambassador Shaan signed the book of condolence opened at the Embassy of Vietnam in Berlin, following the death of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and former President of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.

Ambassador Shaan had a productive virtual meeting with Ibrahim Shiuree, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation. Discussions were focused on the potential avenues for enhancing the collaborations in promoting Maldivian tourism in Germany and the accredited countries, to achieve mutual corporate goals.
