Ambassador Shaan met with the new Ambassador of Malaysia, Mohamad Razdan Jamil, at the Embassy.

During the meeting, both Ambassadors reflected on the historic ties of friendship and cooperation between the Maldives and Malaysia.

Ambassador Shaan attended the opening ceremony of AsiaBerlin Summit 2025.

At this year’s summit, over 100 exhibitors and over 1500 participants from across Germany and Asia gathered in Berlin, under the theme ‘Connecting Startup Ecosystems for Diversity and Innovation’.

Ambassador Shaan met with the Head of Division for South and Southeast Asia, and the Pacific at the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), Katharina Wittke. Discussions focused on investment opportunities in the Maldives and avenues for enhanced collaboration with German partners.
