The Embassy co-hosted the GICA Glocal Congress in partnership with Foundation AusserGewöhnlich, Berlin. Ambassador Shaan delivered remarks at the GICA Glocal Congress advocating for global support for smart and sustainable development of the Maldives and other SIDS. She also expressed appreciation to global impact startups and investors for their interest and commitment.

A flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy to commemorate the 59th Anniversary of the Independence of Maldives. Ambassador Shaan hoisted the flag in the presence of the Embassy staff.

Ambassador Shaan signed the book of condolence opened at the Embassy of Vietnam in Berlin, following the death of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and former President of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.
