Ambassador Shaan met the Director of Asia Division at German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Mr Marcus Lange, on Friday, 11 July 2025.

Ambassador Shaan called on the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Iris Joseline Pujol Rodriguez, on Tuesday, 8 July 2025.

Maldives Cultural Showcase at Der Divan
The Embassy held an event at Der Divan - Das Arabische Kulturhaus to walk through the history and culture of the Maldives, with the support of Willkommen in Berlin.
The guests at the event got to taste Maldivian cuisine; including MasHuni made live during the event, served with fresh Kulhimas, Muguriha and Roshi.

As this year’s programme coincides with the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister-President of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Manuela Schwesig celebrated the occasion with the women Ambassadors and Envoys.
