Ambassador Shaan participated in the Federal President’s annual informational and contact-building programme for the Diplomatic Corps and representatives of international organizations in Germany on Tuesday, 24 June 2025. As this year’s programme coincides with the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Minister-President of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Manuela Schwesig celebrated the occasion with the women Ambassadors and Envoys.

Ambassador Shaan attended the TDI25, Day of Industry, the flagship event for economic policy in Germany on Monday, 23 June 2025.

This annual event, hosted by the Federation of German Industries (BDI) aims to address the major debates on global trade and multinational cooperation with international guests, and marks an annual milestone for decision-makers, opinion leaders and innovators.

Ambassador Shaan met the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, Omurbek Tekebaev, at the Embassy of Maldives in Berlin, on Thursday, 19 June 2025.

Discussions focused on the cooperation between the two countries in the bilateral and multilateral spheres. Both the Ambassadors also reflected on the increasing people-to-people ties in the recent years.
