Ambassador Shaan received the new Ambassador of Nepal to Germany, Dr. Shail Rupakheti at the Embassy today. Both Ambassadors reflected on the excellent ties of cooperation between the Maldives and Nepal over the past four decades. Ambassador Shaan also welcomed Ambassador Dr. Rupakheti to Berlin and congratulated for the assumption of his duties. 

Ambassador Shaan signed the book of condolence opened at Bellevue Palace following the demise of former Federal President of Germany, Prof. Dr. Horst Köhler.

Ambassador Shaan met the Director of the Section for South Asia and Afghanistan at Norway's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sigbjørn Tenfjord. The discussions focused on elevating the four decades-old partnership by enhancing collaboration in the fields of trade, tourism and investment, and increasing people-to-people ties.
