Ambassador Shaan called on the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Iris Joseline Pujol Rodriguez, on Tuesday, 8 July 2025.

Discussions focused on the increasing engagements between the Maldives and Dominican Reublic, and potential areas for further cooperation.

Both the Ambassadors also explored avenues for collaboration between the Embassies in Berlin, as SIDS with shared challenges.

Ambassador Shaan signed the book of condolence opened at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Berlin, in memory of the victims of the recent attacks in lran.

The Embassy held an event at Der Divan - Das Arabische Kulturhaus to walk through the history and culture of the Maldives, with the support of Willkommen in Berlin.

The guests at the event got to taste Maldivian cuisine; including MasHuni made live during the event, served with fresh Kulhimas, Muguriha and Roshi.
